The Knox Gathering now has THREE great options for adults on Sunday mornings! The two classes are both starting this week (Dec. 8th), so it’s a great time to engage with your Knox brothers and sisters for fellowship and learning (and coffee). All classes run from 9:15 to 10:15.
Balancing Spiritual Life with the Rest of Life

The Bible: Who wrote it, how it came to be
Who decided that the 66 books in our Bibles would be included, and why? What about other books that some traditions include? This two-week course will examine the way in which our Bibles came to be in the form we have them today, and will discuss why the question matters for us today. Led by Bethel Professor Peter Vogt.
Bio: Dr. Peter Vogt has taught Old Testament and biblical interpretation at Bethel Seminary since 2001. His prior ministry experience includes service as a volunteer chaplain, minister to single adults, and Sunday school teacher for youth and adults. Before experiencing a call to ministry, he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He is the author of two books, one on Deuteronomy and the other on how to interpret the Pentateuch, as well as several articles. He and his wife, Cami (also a Seminary graduate) have five children. They live in Mendota Heights.
