Home for Christmas, Knox Neighborhood Theatre’s ninth season offering, is a sometimes comic, sometimes serious look at how we celebrate Christmas. In an increasingly secular world, where “Santa is a saint and Jesus is just an OK guy in sandals”, this production pokes fun at and shines a light on our Christmas traditions. In settings ranging from a World War II battleground to an elementary school “Winter Holiday Party”, Home for Christmas is a series of short sketches and monologues ably acted by an inter-generational cast of twelve, many of whom are long-time KNT veterans. In addition, this year's KNT production is incoporated into Knox's Centennial Celebration. Centennial events are planned throughout the 2007-2008 school year.
Productions are scheduled for Friday November 30th at 7p.m., Saturday December 1st at 7 p.m., and Sunday December 2nd at 4 p.m.at Knox Church in south Minneapolis. Reservations cam be made by calling the church office at 612-822-2181.
